v5.6 - 11.2025

Document management Step 2

Release v5.6 enables documents to be uploaded for a defined list of machines. In addition, the visibility of individual documents can be specifically controlled, for example to enable provision in the mobile app.

  • The rights structure of the document management system has also been fundamentally revised:
  • Each document is assigned a unique owner.
  • Only users of the associated company (and, if applicable, their superordinate companies) are authorized to edit or delete documents.
  • The location is used exclusively for viewing and downloading; it is no longer possible for location users to edit documents.
  • Detailed information on the available setting options can be found here

Note

Only document owners can edit or delete documents.

Task planning

  • Tasks with longer runtimes are now executed in the background.
  • In this release, machine templates are imported asynchronously in order to process large data sets more reliably.
  • A new overview shows completed, running and planned tasks and provides insight into the respective results.
  • Planned and running tasks can be canceled directly if required.

Router Online Status

*If you are currently only a customer for m2s, this is a feature subject to a charge.

What does Router Online Status offer?

Router Online Status provides the option of being notified as soon as the router's VPN changes to Deactivated status.

New functionality

  • Time-definable alerting
  • Setting how long the status of the router must be set before an alert is sent (delay)
  • Notification interval for setting the interval between notifications of group membership
  • Weekday and time of day setting to define the times at which alerts may be sent
  • User and group-specific alerting
  • Group-specific alerting
    • Group 0 after alarm delay
    • Group 1 after alarm delay + simple notification interval
    • Group 2 after alarm delay + double notification interval
    • ...

Fleet Step 3

  • A list of all connections is now displayed in the router context in the portal app.
  • Routers are now displayed together with machines on the GPS map.
  • Users can now create a personal registration token for device inboxes. The function is available both in the device inbox context and in the user profile. Tokens are valid for 10 minutes and can be renewed if required.
  • There is now an action in the router table that allows the user to download the router configuration.

Data Retention Display/ Handling

In the machine details in the Settings app, you can now get an overview of the number of measured values and messages recorded. The data is calculated as follows:

  • Daily average of the last seven days
  • Weekly average of the last four weeks
  • Monthly average of the last three months

The retention period for measured values and messages can also be edited. A routine runs monthly to check which historical data may be deleted.

Other extensions

  • An option has been added to automatically generate Node-RED during machine creation.
  • Plantnet IP and Plantnet mask have been added to the router creation form.
  • A new column has been added to the router table to show the current Node-RED status.
  • An option has been added to change the company of a router (in the quick edit window).
  • A new filter option has been added in the event log to filter by a specific entity (machine/router/company/user etc.).
  • A WAN IP field has been added in the "Router Device Information" (Fleet Service) section.
  • An option has been added to display comments of machines/routers in the name in the tree view of the portal app (disabled by default). This allows comments to be found directly via the tree view search.
  • Added an option to hide routers in the portal app (similar to how machines can be hidden).
  • Remote dashboard connections are now tracked correctly.
  • Larger input fields for meta values (Portal App).
  • When a machine template is deleted, all associated machines are reset to the previous template version. If no previous version exists (deleted template was version 0), the machines are deleted.
  • BugFix: Fixed an issue where archived machines were displayed on the GPS map.
  • BugFix: A problem has been fixed where machine templates were not found via the name search due to a renaming.
  • BugFix: Fixed an issue in the mobile app where dashboards were not filtered correctly based on their visibility.
  • BugFix: Fixed an issue where when assigning a machine to a dashboard, the dashboard was not automatically assigned to that machine.
  • BugFix: Fixed an issue where the action list dropdown would not close for certain actions.
