Alarm settings
The alarm settings of a router can be opened from the router interface via the button (eye). The displayed page is divided into two sections:
1. VPN status
In the "VPN status" section, you can view information about the existing VPN connection, call up configuration details and edit certain parameters.
- If the m2s software is installed on the computer used, a VPN connection can be established automatically via the "Connect to router" button.

For manual setup of the VPN client, the "Download mobile access" button is available for downloading the corresponding OVPN file.
The following adjustments can be made using the "Edit" button- IP service network
- Netmasks of the service network
- Comment
- Mobile access of the router Press the "Send" button to transfer these settings to the router.
2. alarming
The "Alerting" section is divided into three areas:
2.1 Settings
The "Alerting" button activates or deactivates alerting:
- Blue tick -> active alerting
- Gray minus -> inactive alerting
2.2 Standard configuration
Basic parameters for the alarm behavior are defined here:
- delay in minutes
Defines how long the VPN failure must last before a first alarm is sent. - notification interval in minutes
Defines the time interval after which - if the alarm has not been acknowledged - the next alarm is sent to the subsequent alarm group. -
time window in CET
Active and inactive time periods for the alarm can be configured here. Elements and functions:- Slider: Selection and adjustment of active and inactive time segments
- "Add" button: Creates a new segment that can be configured in terms of time and active/inactive.
- "Copy" button: Transfers a day configuration to one or more other days of the week.
- Button "Remove": Deletes the selected segment and automatically extends the previous one.
- "Active" button: Activates/deactivates the selected segment.
- Text fields "Start time" and "End time": Manual input fields for setting the corresponding time with additional graphic clock for mouse control
The created configuration can be saved using the "Send" button
2.3 Subscribers
Click on "Add a new alerting sequence" to create another alerting group. Within these groups, people are stored as recipients for alarm messages. All persons in alarm sequence 0 receive the first alarm - after the set delay in minutes has elapsed. Groups with a higher alarm sequence are notified one after the other if the previous group has not acknowledged the alarm within the configured notification interval.
