Basic parameters for the alarm behavior are defined here:

  1. delay in minutes
Defines how long the VPN failure must last before a first alarm is sent.
  2. notification interval in minutes
Defines the time interval after which - if the alarm has not been acknowledged - the next alarm is sent to the subsequent alarm group.
  3. time window in CET
Active and inactive time periods for the alarm can be configured here. Elements and functions:

    • Slider: Selection and adjustment of active and inactive time segments
    • "Add" button: Creates a new segment that can be configured in terms of time and active/inactive.
    • "Copy" button: Transfers a day configuration to one or more other days of the week.
    • Button "Remove": Deletes the selected segment and automatically extends the previous one.
    • "Active" button: Activates/deactivates the selected segment.
    • Text fields "Start time" and "End time": Manual input fields for setting the corresponding time with additional graphic clock for mouse control

The created configuration can be saved using the "Send" button

2.3 Subscribers

Click on "Add a new alerting sequence" to create another alerting group. Within these groups, people are stored as recipients for alarm messages. All persons in alarm sequence 0 receive the first alarm - after the set delay in minutes has elapsed. Groups with a higher alarm sequence are notified one after the other if the previous group has not acknowledged the alarm within the configured notification interval.
