Flexible user management

With the new flexible user management you can now assign users specifically to individual companies within your organizational structure, without automatically inheriting rights from the main company. To do this, the user must be created in the actual company. Only flexible user management can be activated via the "Restricted access" slider. A window then opens in which the companies can be assigned.

What does this mean in concrete terms?

Previously, users who were assigned to a company automatically had access to all subordinate companies in the company tree. From now on, you can control access granularly and only give users access to one or more specific companies without giving them access to the upper levels. However, access to the sub-companies of the selected companies is still inherited.

Machines/ routers GPS location

GPS locations for machines

With the new GPS feature, you can localize machines on the world map. The machine receives its GPS data (latitude, longitude, altitude and speed) from its router. You can set the coordinates manually in the Settings app. These are overwritten as soon as the router sends new data.

In the Portal app, you can see all of a company's machines on a world map. Machines that are close to each other are displayed in groups. When hovering, you can see the name and date of the last update. In the machine context, you will also find a map where only the respective machine is displayed.

Fleet Step 2

The second step of Fleetservice brings many new changes and improvements. You now have the option of changing the configuration of your routers remotely and using router templates to adopt a predefined configuration for new routers. Onboarding new routers has also been simplified: when a router is created via Fleetservice, the router automatically loads the VPN certificate generated for it and establishes a connection.
