Alerting
Alerts are displayed under the "Alerts" navigation item. These can be filtered using the following attributes:
- Active alarms:
- An alarm becomes inactive when it has gone from the PLC and a user has acknowledged it.
- Subscribed machines:
- Only alarms from machines to which the user has subscribed are displayed.
- From - To:
- Only alarms that have come in a certain time interval are displayed.
Note
If an alarm is not acknowledged by a user and the status is "Not acknowledged", the alarm is still "active". If the alarm comes from the PLC again, the time of the original alarm applies. The alarm history can be viewed in the details.
Alarms are generated based on messages and can then be sent to users via push notification or email, for example (see Alarming).
Messages are used to monitor the measured values of a machine and, for example, to document an exceeded limit value.
