Editing routers

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Settings App

Editing routers

  1. click on the "Router " entry in the navigation menu
  2. select the router you want to edit from the list. The following operations are now available to you:

Edit Edit
VPN The VPN settings of the router can be called up and edited.
Archive Routers that are no longer required can be archived (including all dependent objects).
Fleet The router's fleet overview can be called up.

Edit

Clicking on opens a new dialog window in which various router settings can be adjusted. These include the name of the router, the MAC address or the token, the location and the check interval.

The Node-RED functionality can also be activated or deactivated for ServiceRouter Compact routers.

Please note that the type of router cannot be changed once it has been created. This is to ensure the consistency and security of the router configuration.


VPN

Clicking on the symbol takes you to the router's VPN settings. The VPN status of the router and the timestamp of the last connection are displayed there.

By clicking on the "Edit" button, you can change the IP address of the service network and the netmask of the service network. A comment field is also available in which you can enter comments or additional information.

It is also possible to activate or deactivate mobile access. This offers flexibility in terms of the router's connectivity.


Fleet

Clicking on the icon takes you to the router's fleet overview.


Archive

You can archive selected routers by clicking on . Please note that you must confirm this action beforehand.
