Machines

In the Settings app, it is possible to link a machine to a router. In contrast to the dashboards, where an instance is created directly, it is necessary to first create a machine template for the machines.

This machine template contains important information about the data points to be recorded, the messages to be output and alarms. This template can then be used to create a machine that is specifically tailored to the requirements and needs of your production environment. This enables efficient and targeted data collection and evaluation.

  1. a machine template is created first.

Machines are connected to the m2v Plattform via a router. In addition to metadata, real-time data on a machine can also be recorded.

This can be used to generate automatic messages and alarms and to create dashboards. Machine templates simplify the creation of several similar machines (series machines).

Visibility

The machine is visible:

  • In the portal app: Dashboards, messages and reports for a machine can be called up here. Reports can be generated and downloaded.
